Every year, we look for artists to be featured in our ArtFix series.  This year’s feature is artist Kasey Jones.  Jones uses her artistic voice as a means for social and environmental justice.  Her work instigates a dialogue that forces her viewers to confront issues that are typically hard to talk about.  Her current work focuses on microplasctics in the ocean, and the injustices she has faced through her experiences of being a woman and mother in contemporary society. Kasey’s work has been featured in the Huffington Post, Scary Mommy and Cosmopolitan Magazine.  You can see her solo exhibitions every summer at the National Aquarium, in Baltimore Maryland.
