Behind the Scenes | Grateful Dead x NoSo

A special collection deserved a setting with a little magic.

To bring the official Grateful Dead x Noso collection to life, we gathered a wonderfully creative crew in Kelly, Wyoming, for a day filled with patches, vintage style, friendship and the unmistakable beauty of the Tetons.

The goal was to capture more than a product. We wanted the campaign to feel like the collection itself: expressive, adventurous, playful and made for people who aren’t afraid to make something their own.

A Collection Made to Be Lived In
The Grateful Dead has always inspired creativity, community and the freedom to be yourself. Those same ideas are at the heart of Noso.

Our peel-and-stick fabric patches are made to repair holes, reinforce well-loved gear and add personality to the things you already own. A jacket, bag, pair of jeans or favorite piece of outdoor gear can become a canvas for memories, artwork and self-expression.
During the shoot, we styled the collection on puffies, denim, bags, shoes and other well-traveled pieces. Some patches covered damage. Others were added simply because they looked great.

That is the beauty of flair and repair: you don’t need to wait for something to rip before making it yours.

Behind the Camera
The campaign was photographed by Jay Nel McIntosh, with J. Mike Kuhn joining as our second photographer. Together, they captured the sweeping Wyoming landscape, the details of the patches and the candid moments that made the day feel less like a traditional photoshoot and more like a gathering of friends.

Our models were Chase Lockhart, Maggie Carutth, Callie and Noso inventor, founder and CEO Kelli Jones. Each person brought their own energy and personal style to the shoot, helping show how the collection can live on different people, different gear and different adventures.
The images feel joyful and a little unexpected—which is exactly what we hoped for.

Mountain Magic in Kelly, Wyoming
We are incredibly grateful to the Kent family and Roy Boda for welcoming us onto their properties in Kelly, Wyoming, and allowing us to photograph the campaign in such a beautiful setting.

With open sage fields, mountain views and the Tetons rising in the distance, the location gave the collection a sense of place that feels unmistakably Noso. This company was born in Wyoming, inspired by outdoor adventure and built around the belief that the things we carry should be repaired, personalized and kept in use.

The landscape wasn’t simply a backdrop. It was part of the story.

Make It Yours. Take It Further.
The official Grateful Dead x Noso collection brings iconic artwork to USA-made, PFAS-free patches designed for both flair and repair.
Every patch offers an invitation: choose what speaks to you, put it somewhere unexpected and keep the things you love moving.
Thank you to everyone who helped bring this campaign to life—and to the people who continue to show us that a repair can be practical, personal and worth displaying proudly.
Peace. Love. Patches.
