There’s nothing quite as refreshing and exhilarating as an outdoor adventure. Whether hitting the snowy slopes in your puffy jacket, trekking through the desert in your favorite pair of hiking pants, or backpacking through the forest with your trusty tent—there’s always an adventure calling.

But even the best-planned adventures encounter challenges. Maybe a slip and fall while snowboarding punctures your puffy. Maybe a cactus catches on your pant leg, leaving a tear. Maybe opening your tent to find a hole in the fabric—UGH!

What are your options? You hate the idea of throwing away otherwise perfectly good gear to buy something new. You might be lucky enough to have duct tape on hand, but that’s ugly as can be—not to mention the rough texture and rigidity. Fortunately, NoSo Patches can save your favorite outdoor apparel.

It’s time to repair and add flair with NoSo Patches!

What Are NoSo Patches?

NoSo Patches are polyester gear repair patches, perfect for fixing your favorite outdoor apparel. This is great for keeping your beloved apparel out of landfills—which is a benefit for the planet and your wallet.

NoSo Patches are:

  • Waterproof
  • Durable
  • Lightweight
  • Flexible

The idea for NoSo Patches started in 2015 when founder Kelli Jones ripped an expensive parka on a barbed-wire fence. Yikes! Duct tape was a quick fix, but she didn’t like the way it looked on her brand-new jacket. Experimenting with different materials, fabrics, and adhesives, she finally landed on the NoSo Patch formula. Cutting the material into hearts and star patches, NoSo was ready to patch the world.

Our merchandise has come a long way since then. NoSo Patches include animals, flags, artist collaborations, national park badges, and a whole host of amazing shapes, colors, and designs.

How to Apply NoSo Patches

Applying NoSo Patches is as easy as 1-2-3:

    1. Prep and clean the affected area. Clean the damaged area—alcohol wipes work best. Remove loose threads or any obstructions.
    2. Crack it and stick it. Crack your NoSo patch and peel away the paper liner. Center the patch over the damaged area and apply pressure. Achieve a nice, smooth fit by starting in the center and moving out to the edges.
    3. Apply heat to make it last. If you’re on the go, just sticking a NoSo Patch is good enough. But when you have the opportunity, apply heat to make it permanent. You can use a hairdryer, tumble dry on low for 15 minutes, or (if it’s hot enough outside) even use the sunshine. Apply moderate pressure in a circular motion for 30 seconds for the best results.
