Production & Operations Supervisor

Production & Operations Supervisor
Noso Patches | Full-Time, On-Site
Reports to: Founder & CEO

Compensation is flexible and will reflect your experience, leadership capabilities, and the scope of responsibility you bring to the role.

About Noso

Noso makes USA-made, PFAS-free peel-and-stick fabric patches that help people repair, personalize, and extend the life of their clothing and gear. We bring creativity and function together, helping people make their gear their own while keeping it in use.

About the Role

We’re looking for a resourceful, hands-on leader who brings positive energy, keeps people and projects moving, and takes ownership of day-to-day operations.

Your immediate focus will be moving approved orders through print, production, and assembly accurately and on time. As you learn the business, you’ll take greater ownership of inventory, fulfillment, warehouse workflows, and cross-team coordination.

Our CEO works primarily off-site. You’ll be trusted to make decisions within your responsibilities, anticipate problems, follow through, and know when to seek approval. Your work will give the founder more space to focus on strategy, creative direction, and growth.

What You Will Do

Production & Supplier Coordination

  • Review approved production files, specifications, quantities, materials, and deadlines before releasing work to production.
  • Coordinate print orders, suppliers, pricing, lead times, and delivery commitments.
  • Monitor materials and replenishment needs and coordinate approved purchases.
  • Maintain a clear production tracker and resolve shortages, quality concerns, missing information, and delays.

Assembly Team Management

  • Lead patch assembly, packaging, and kitting, setting priorities and ensuring the team has clear instructions and materials.
  • Train staff, monitor quality and productivity, and provide clear, respectful feedback.
  • Track completed units, rejected products, and labor hours.
  • Document procedures and cross-train staff so work continues during absences.

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Coordinate day-to-day priorities across design, marketing, and sales to keep work aligned with production schedules and business deadlines.
  • Keep responsibilities, deadlines, and handoffs clear.
  • Follow up on commitments, remove roadblocks, and address delays before they affect other teams.
  • Keep the founder informed of progress and flag decisions that require approval.

Inventory, Warehouse & Fulfillment

  • Coordinate receiving, inventory organization, picking, packing, and shipping for e-commerce, wholesale, and custom orders.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and organized pick-bin locations.
  • Manage replenishment and coordinate approved handling of slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
  • Help with hands-on assembly and fulfillment when needed.
  • Improve workflows to reduce errors, unnecessary handling, waste, and costs.

What You Bring

  • Relevant experience managing production, purchasing, inventory, warehouse operations, or fulfillment, ideally in a consumer products business.
  • Experience supervising a small team, setting clear priorities, and holding people accountable with respect.
  • Confidence making decisions within your responsibilities, taking ownership of outcomes, and knowing when to seek approval.
  • A proactive approach: you notice what needs attention, take action, and follow through without waiting to be asked.
  • Positive energy and a solutions-focused attitude that help the team stay motivated and keep work moving.
  • Clear, consistent communication with team members, suppliers, and leadership, including timely updates and direct conversations when issues arise.
  • Strong spreadsheet skills, attention to detail, and the ability to turn competing priorities into an organized, actionable plan.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers, managing deadlines, and resolving production or fulfillment issues.
  • Comfort learning and using business software, including project trackers, inventory and shipping systems, and AI tools.
  • Willingness to work hands-on alongside the team in assembly, packaging, and fulfillment.
  • An interest in Noso’s mission of repair, creativity, sustainability, and extending the life of gear and clothing.

Experience with large SKU assortments, product line management, wholesale requirements, or EDI is preferred, as is familiarity with Shopify, QuickBooks, Slack, and Asana.

What Success Looks Like

Day-to-day operations run smoothly without the founder directing every next step. Orders move accurately and on schedule, suppliers receive consistent follow-up, and your team has clear priorities and the support it needs. You anticipate problems and improve systems, giving the founder more space to focus on growing the business.
