Social Media Coordinator (Part-Time Contractor)

Summary:
NoSo Patches seeks a Social Media Coordinator to:
- Execute social media campaigns across platforms with Instagram as the primary channel
- Coordinate content, posting schedules, and assets
- Engage with community and partners
- Track performance and provide reporting
The Role
What You’ll Do:
- Execute daily social media publishing across Instagram (primary), TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Schedule and publish Reels, Stories, carousels, and static posts
- Repurpose content across platforms as appropriate
- Coordinate content assets with internal teams, photographers, creators, and partners
- Maintain a rolling social content calendar aligned with launches and campaigns
- Support product launches, collaborations, and events on social channels
- Engage actively with the community by responding to comments and DMs
- Monitor brand mentions, tags, and user-generated content opportunities
- Prepare posts for approval when required
- Track key metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and traffic
- Compile simple performance reports and insights
- Ensure consistent brand voice, tone, and visual style across platforms
- Attend 2× weekly team meetings, Mondays & Thursdays at 2 PM Mountain
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support company goals
- Operate within NoSo’s internal systems using Asana, Slack, and Dropbox
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for taking on additional tasks as they arise in a dynamic environment
Collaboration with Marketing Coordinator:
This role partners closely with the Marketing Coordinator to deliver cohesive campaigns across channels.
The Marketing Coordinator leads campaign planning, timelines, and lifecycle marketing (email/SMS), while the Social Media Coordinator executes the social rollout, community engagement, and day-to-day platform management.
Success in this role requires proactive communication, alignment on messaging, and reliable execution against shared launch schedules.
Required Experience:
- BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years experience managing social media for a consumer brand, preferably e-commerce
- Demonstrated success growing and engaging an Instagram audience
- Experience producing and creating short-form video (Reels/TikTok)
- Strong visual judgment and understanding of platform aesthetics
- Familiarity with platform tools including Instagram Creator tools, TikTok analytics, and LinkedIn posting best practices
- Experience working on a fast-paced team
- Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time-management skills; self-starter with high intrinsic motivation
- Excellent written communication skills
- Comfortable working within structured workflows and project management systems
- Familiarity with social scheduling tools (Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, etc.) preferred
